I'm Liz McDougall DHP Acc.Hyp  a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Life Coach, Advanced Clinical Weight Loss Practitioner, Gastric Band Hypnotherapist and a Reiki Master. 

My early 40's was a pivotal moment in my life when I suddenly realised that I wasn't living my life's purpose. Night out after night out just simply wasn't making me happy anymore. My social life was getting out of control so I decided to embark on a journey of self-improvement.

This began with me studying and gaining Diplomas in both Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Advanced Weight Loss Practitioner. My thirst for knowledge and studying was truly awakened so I embarked on studying part-time with The Open University and gained a BA Hons in English Literature and Creative Writing. Somehow happily along the way it led me to practice Meditation and Gratefulness on a daily basis. I then turned to Reiki and Hypnosis to assist me with some anxiety issues and they worked wonders for me. 

I hit the reset button on my life and you can too. It is a real joy that I can share this sense of freedom with my clients every day and help them live their best life.

My practice based in Blantyre near Glasgow is both welcoming and informal. 

Your privacy and confidentiality is as important to me as it is for you so I do not run back to back appointments.

COVID-19 Update. 

My therapy room is now opened back up and I am once again able to see you face to face.  I am also still available for online Zoom sessions if you prefer. Distance is no longer an object.
